About Exalto rubber cutlass bearings
An Exalto all-rubber cutlass bearing has no rigid outer shell. Water passing through the grooves in its bore lubricates and cools it, as with the shelled bearings.
Without a rigid shell, this design uses its own mounting arrangement. Choose it when the vessel specification calls for an all-rubber bearing, and confirm the dimensions and retention method before fitting. Product pages list the outside diameter as moulded rather than as a tolerance range.
Every rubber bearing here is from Exalto's Standard Marine Range, manufactured in the United Kingdom. Each product page gives the nominal shaft, housing bore and length and, where listed, the manufactured bore and outside-diameter tolerances, so you can check the finished bearing against your measurements.
