The MIBSF60 is a genuine Exalto brass cutlass bearing from the Standard Marine Range, manufactured in the United Kingdom to OEM tolerances. Nominal size is 60mm x 3" x 240mm. It is designated for a 60 mm shaft and a nominal 3" housing bore. Confirm the specified housing fit and application before fitting. The tolerance ranges above describe the finished bearing dimensions. Overall length is 240 mm.
A brass outer shell with a grooved nitrile rubber lining. Exalto advises against fitting brass directly into steel or aluminium housings. A worn or oversized housing needs assessment; changing shell material does not correct its bore dimensions.
