The IBSF06 is a genuine Exalto brass cutlass bearing from the Standard Marine Range, manufactured in the United Kingdom to OEM tolerances. Nominal size is 3/4" x 1-1/4" x 3". It is designated for a 3/4" shaft and a nominal 1-1/4" housing bore. Confirm the specified housing fit and application before fitting. The tolerance ranges above describe the finished bearing dimensions. Overall length is 3".
A brass outer shell with a grooved nitrile rubber lining. Exalto advises against fitting brass directly into steel or aluminium housings. A worn or oversized housing needs assessment; changing shell material does not correct its bore dimensions.
Refer to Exalto's shell and lining guidance and installation instructions. A bearing with matching nominal dimensions still needs a compatible material, clearance and mounting arrangement.
